Registration and sign-in for the 2014 Polar Plunge opens at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, at DONSCO Inc., 124 N. Front St., Wrightsville. Opening ceremonies for the Special Olympics York fundraiser will begin at 10 a.m., followed at 10:45 a.m. by a costume parade and contest, a "chicken dance" at 11:15 a.m., and the Golden Plunger awards at 11:30 a.m. The plunge begins at noon.


The York-Adams League Swimming and Diving Championships are set for Saturday at Central York High School. Diving is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. Saturday, while swimming begins at 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

The York-Adams League Girls' Basketball Championship Game is set for 8 p.m. Saturday at York College. Dover is set to take on York Catholic. The York-Adams Boys' Basketball Championship Game is set for 5 p.m. Saturday, when York High faces Central York, also at York College.
