Bright red flags with green Christmas trees hanging from businesses and churches mean one thing: It's Christmastime in Loganville.

Flags hanging at 17 locations in Loganville, Jacobus and Seven Valleys signify participation in the 28th annual Christmastime in Loganville from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Shoppers can enjoy homemade food and baked goods, holiday crafts, children's activities and door prizes.

A Gifts that Give Hope Alternative Gift Fair will be hosted from 11 to 3 p.m. at Brown's Orchards and Farm Market, 8892 Susquehanna Trail South in Loganville.

The Alternative Gift Fair benefits local nonprofits such as York Habitat for Humanity and everyone who buys something at the fair will be entered to win a handmade Brown's gift basket.

Gift baskets, pies and other holiday orders can be made at Brown's while children visit with Santa Claus at the Brown Bean Café.

Rep. Ron Miller will have an open house at his office at 6872 Susquehanna Trail South, where everyone is welcome to meet with Miller and his staff. There will be light refreshments and a train display courtesy of the Glen Rock Hose and Ladder Company.

The Christmastime in Loganville Craft Show at Loganville-Springfield Elementary School will include jewelry, building replicas, holiday soaps and other gifts.

Donations of canned goods and other nonperishable food items will be collected for food baskets for local families.

The Jacobus Lions Club Ambulance Building will have a Chinese auction with winners being announced at 3:45 p.



Families can enjoy a tea party and children's crafts and take pictures at the nativity scene at Christ United Methodist Church, 200 North Main Street, where there will be walking tacos, pizza, meatball subs, cookies and gifts for sale.

Christmas trees, wreaths, garlands and other holiday decor can be purchased at the Springfield Tree Farm, 7022 Susquehanna Trail South.

Food, door prizes and gifts will also be available at The Village Library of Jacobus, Christ Lutheran Church, Goodwill Fire Company, Grey Beards Antiques, Codorus Church of the Brethren, Emmanuel Methodist Church, Friedensaal's Lutheran Church, Smith Village Home Furnishings, St. Peter's Church and Salem United Church of Christ.
