Original report:

An effort is under way to help a Franklin Township family of five that was burned out of its home Friday morning.

First responders were sent to the mobile home in the 100 block of Walmar Manor about 11 a.m., and firefighters attempted battle the blaze from inside the home but were pushed outside because of unsafe conditions, said Chief Michael Whitzel of the Franklintown and Community Fire Co.

"The fire pretty much consumed the building," he said.
