The stepdaughter of York County's convicted Motel 6 strangler has avoided additional prison time for her role in the 2010 crime, which was limited to possessing items her stepfather stole from his victim.
Enishia Bradley, 25, of York, was sentenced Thursday to 33 days to 23-1/2 months in county prison, which amounted to a time-served sentence, according to court records. She pleaded guilty Dec. 2 to theft and receiving stolen property.
Her stepfather, Tracey Raynard Bradley, was convicted in September 2012 of first-degree murder, robbery, theft and other offenses for killing 72-year-old Lee Choppin of Roanoke, Va., inside Choppin's room at the Motel 6 on Arsenal Road in Manchester Township on May 24, 2010.
Tracey Bradley told police he put Choppin in a "sleeper hold" until the man stopped struggling, and said he committed the robbery to get money for his family.
He is serving life in prison without parole, plus 13-1/2 to 27 years.
Scott McCabe, Enishia Bradley's defense attorney, has said his client had no involvement in the murder.
