Snow removal operations will continue Wednesday night in York City, Mayor Kim Bracey announced in a news release.

From 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. Thursday, North George Street between Philadelphia and North streets will be closed, and all cars must be removed from the area.

During that time, all snow will be removed from the curbs, parking meters and sidewalks.

Snow hauling will continue nightly from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the downtown meter district, with street closings and parking restrictions in place.
