A Peach Bottom Township man told troopers someone stabbed him outside his home early Monday morning.

Michael Hickman, 20, said he stepped out of his home in the 300 block of Lay Road after he heard his dog barking about 5:45 a.m., according to state police.

That's when someone stabbed him in the abdomen with an unknown object, police said.

Hickman told troopers he saw two people whom he could not describe run from the area, police said.

Hickman was taken to York Hospital for treatment, police said. His hospital condition could not be obtained.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police at (717) 428-1011.
