West York Police arrested a York City man they say fired a gun from a moving SUV at people in another vehicle during a dispute between two families.

Police continue to search for a second man who might have also fired shots at the vehicle.

Anthony Lamont Real, 21, of the 800 block of West King Street, was arrested at his home Monday by borough police with the aid of York City Police, according to a news release issued by West York Police.

He is charged with two counts each of aggravated assault and attempted aggravated assault and a single count of reckless endangerment, according to his court records.

As of Wednesday evening, Real was in York County Prison on $40,000 bail, according to a prison official.

Real was a passenger in a black Honda SUV that was chasing another vehicle when he allegedly fired a gun at it in West York late Sunday night, police said.

Chase: The occupants of the vehicle that was being chased told police they were driving through York City when, about 10:25 p.m., the SUV and a white sedan began chasing their vehicle, police said.

The SUV and sedan attempted to box in the vehicle at the intersection of South Richland and West College avenues, but it was able to maneuver around the blocking cars and drove onto West Princess Street in the borough, police said.

Real allegedly fired shots at the vehicle when it was in the 1100 block of West Princess Street, police said. After the shooting, occupants of the SUV and the sedan drove at a high rate of speed back into York City, police said.

Police say the incident happened because of a "prior domestic related feud" between two families.

No injuries were reported.

One sought: Police believe the driver of the SUV also fired shots at the vehicle.

The driver is described as a male in his mid to late 30s, police said.
