A York City man ran to a nearby business after he was shot twice on West Mason Avenue Monday evening.

Shi-Dee Fells, 35, no address provided, was shot in his right arm and right thigh while in the 300 block of West Mason Avenue, located between West King and West Market streets, about 5:30 p.m., according to a news release from York City Police.

After he was shot, Fells ran to Li's Kitchen, 287 West Market Street, where someone called 911, police said.

Fells was taken by ambulance to York Hospital to be treated for his injuries, police said.

Shortly after the shooting, officers gathered evidence, including what appeared to be bullet casings, from the shooting scene.

A blood trail from the intersection of West Mason Avenue and Newberry Street led to Li's Kitchen. An employee at the business declined to comment.

Suspect information was not available Monday.
