The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board on Wednesday opened a new liquor store in York County.

A Fine Wine & Good Spirits Store opened at 185-195 Glen Drive in the East Manchester Village Center.

Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays.

The new East Manchester Township store is double the size of the store it replaced at 4169 N. George St. in Manchester, according to a PLCB news release.

More than 1,350 wines and 830 spirits are sold at the new state store, which neighbors a Giant supermarket.

"This new store will be more convenient to more consumers because it brings a greater selection of wine and spirits to a shopping center with a grocery store," Dale Horst, PLCB director of retail operations, said in a news release.
