A Fairview Township resident was spot on when he or she called police Thursday morning, saying a meth lab was found in a storage shed at a trailer park.

Township police officers responding to the call at Regent Acres trailer park, 700 Salem Road, just before 10 a.m. confirmed the set up was, in fact, a small meth lab, according to a news release from police.

Firefighters with the Fairview Township Fire Co. and the New Cumberland Army Depot were called in and helped police make the scene safe, police said.

No residents had to be evacuated.

State police troopers specializing in clandestine drug laboratories processed the scene, police said.

Fairview Township Police continue to investigate the lab. Anyone with information is asked to call (717) 901-5267.
