Federal agents arrested a York County man in North Carolina on Wednesday in connection with a 2011 armed robbery in Manchester Township.

U.S. marshals allege Thomas Landon, 23, no exact address provided, was one of several armed suspects who robbed the Fulton Bank bank branch on Susquehanna Trail at Church Road on Oct. 27.

The robbers made off with an undisclosed amount of cash, and Landon had been on the run since, according to a news release from marshals.

But the long arm of the law finally caught up with Landon when he was arrested without incident in Charlotte, N.C., the release says.

He was turned over to local authorities and is waiting extradition to Pennsylvania.

Upon his return, he will be arraigned on two counts of robbery and single counts of conspiracy to commit robbery, carrying a firearm without a license, theft and receiving stolen property, according to court documents.

It is not known if Landon has retained an attorney.
