York will see showers and thunderstorms beginning in the late morning Tuesday and stretching through the day Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday will have a slight chance of showers in the morning, followed by a greater chance of rain and storms Tuesday afternoon, the forecast said. Tuesday's high will be 83 and the low 64.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue Tuesday night and Wednesday, the NWS said. Wednesday's high will be 71 and the low 54.

Thursday will be partly cloudy, with a high of 69 and low of 55, and the chance of rain and storms returns on Friday, with a high of 76 and low of 55, the forecast said.
