Two York County companies have received Governor's Impact Awards.

Klinge Corp., a refrigeration manufacturer in Springettsbury Township, won the Export Impact Award.

Legacy Athletic, an apparel company in Hanover, won the Small Business Impact Award.

The awards were issued Friday during a banquet in Hershey attended by more than 700 Pennsylvania businesses leaders and economic development professionals.

Of the 50 companies recognized during the event, the two York County businesses were cited for their successful business growth.

Klinge's production staff has grown 40 percent and opened a sales office in Asia to handle high demand for its products.

Legacy has grown nearly 100 percent during the last six years, according to information provided at the awards banquet.

The awards given by Gov. Tom Corbett recognize businesses and entrepreneurs creating jobs and boosting the state's economy.
