Two men previously wanted for questioning were interviewed by police and are "no longer persons of interest," said Trooper Robert Hicks, a state police spokesman.
State and Hanover Police are asking for the public's help to identify two men wanted for questioning in connection with a series of thefts and arson blazes that happened in Hanover early Saturday morning.
In one incident, a fire in the 100 block of Moul Avenue damaged a garage and two vehicles parked inside, Hanover Police had said.
That incident was reported about 4:15 a.m., police had said.
A short time later, police responded the areas of East Walnut Street, Blossom Drive and Spencer Drive for theft reports, and suspicious fires were found in three vehicles, police said.
The York County Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to a conviction in the case, police announced on Wednesday.
Anyone with information of the identity of either or both individuals is asked to contact state police at (717) 428-1011 or the Hanover Police at (717) 637-5575. Tips can also be texted to (717) 418-8829. Anyone submitting a tip can remain anonymous when calling or texting.
