Police in Fairview Township are investigating a pair of burglaries that happened within eight days of each other.

During the most recent burglary, which happened between midnight and 7 a.m. Tuesday, a charcoal in color 2005 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck was stolen after a garage in the 300 block of Pleasant View Road was broken into, according to Fairview Township Police.

On June 6, the resident of a home in the 900 block of Silver Lake Road told officers that when she returned home that day, she found her home had been broken into and an undisclosed amount of was money missing, police said.

The burglary happened between June 2 and 6, at which time the woman was away from home.

Police did not say if the burglaries are related.
