A Manchester man was arrested Saturday by Northern York County Regional Police for allegedly robbing a Rutter's store while brandishing a knife.

Gage Nicholas Cathcart, 19, of the 200 block of High Street, previously worked at the Rutter's Farm Store he is accused of robbing Wednesday, July 9, according to a release from the police department.

The Rutter's store is located at 5305 Susquehanna Trail in Conewago Township.

No one was injured during the robbery Wednesday, police said, and the robber escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash before police arrived. But store employees identified Cathcart as the thief, according to police.

Cathcart was found in a hotel along Route 30 Saturday and was arrested without incident, according to police. Clothes from the robbery and the knife used during the incident were found in the room, police said.

Cathcart is charged with robbery, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, simple assault and recklessly endangering another person, according to court documents.

He remains in York County Prison on $50,000 bail.
