Police in Hanover are searching for a man they say pulled off bank robbery in the borough on Wednesday.

The alleged robber, described as a white man with a brown beard and moustache, walked into the PNC Bank at 880 Carlisle Street about 3:15 p.m. and handed a teller a note that demanded money, according to Hanover Police.

He then left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police say.

The man, who is between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-9 and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds, was last seen wearing a bluish green T-shirt with white writing on the upper left chest. He also had on blue sweatpants that were torn and had paint splatter on the front, police said.

The man was also wearing a camouflage cap with the word "Hoyt" on the front, police say.
