People traveling at night on I-83 near the Loganville exit might encounter single-lane restrictions and closed off-ramps during the next two weeks, the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.

Crews will work between 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. around Exit 10 on both sides of the highway, PennDOT said in a press release.

At various times the off-ramps will be closed. PennDOT spokeman Mike Crochunis said he can't predict which nights that will be the case.

PennDOT adivses drivers traveling in either direction to continue to the next exit and then take the Susquehanna Trail back toward Loganville, if that's where they're headed.

"I would say for those who travel the area - just be careful and follow the signs," Crochunis said.
