The York County Heritage Trust will hold its 14th annual Book Blast from Aug. 14 to 16.

Thousands of donated books will be on sale at the Agricultural and Industrial Museam, 217 W. Princess St. in York.

The event kicks off with a members only night from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13. The remainder of the event is open to the public.

Hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday. Friday is half price day with the exception of local history and collectible books; hours are also 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. that day.

Saturday is "buck-a-bag" day and the hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
