Fairview Township Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a gunman who robbed a convenience store in the township late Sunday night.

Just after 11 p.m., a man carrying a handgun with one hand and covering his face with the other walked into the Hess Express, 710 Limekiln Road, police said.

He demanded cash from the clerk and, after getting an undisclosed amount of money, fled on foot, police said.

He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with writing on the front and back, brown boots or shoes and dark pants.

Anyone with information on the robber's identity or whereabouts is asked to call Fairview Township Police at (717) 901-5267.
