A flash flood watch has been issued for York County until 6 a.m. Wednesday.

The National Weather Service says a slow-moving cold front is expected to bring more heavy rain to areas that have already seen 2 to 3 inches of rain over the past 24 hours.

That additional rain could cause streams and creeks to overflow.

The chance of rain continues into Wednesday with a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

Wednesday's high is forecast at 82 degrees, followed by an overnight low of 57.
