A three-week investigation into the goings-on at a Hanover spa led to two arrests for alleged prostitution, police said.

Investigators conducted surveillance at Sakara Spa, 398 York St., Suite 11, which advertised massage services, according to Hanover Police.

Police said the spa was actually a front for prostitution.

Undercover officers went to the business, where two women offered to provide sex acts in exchange for money, police said. The officers paid the women in cash, but left the business before any sex acts occurred, according to police.

Based on the alleged offer, police obtained a search warrant and raided Sakara Spa on Monday and arrested the two women.

Officers seized a little more than $11,000 in cash, as well as "large quantities" of condoms, towels, massage beds and a washer and dryer.

Zhiying Li, 58, and Jinlian Zeng, 51, were taken to York County Prison on $10,000 bail each, charged with prostitution.

Police said the women were living at the business.

Assisting Hanover Police were members of the York County Drug Task Force and West Manchester Township Police.
