The northbound lanes of Route 15 in Carroll Township have reopened to traffic.
Crews are in the process of clearing spilled gravel that closed the northbound lanes of Route 15 in Carroll Township about 8:35 p.m. Thursday.
It'll likely be another hour before the lanes can reopen, according to York County 911 radio transmissions.
In the meantime, fire police are directing traffic around the incident that happened in the area of Carroll Drive.
Route 15 is closed between Carroll Drive and Lisburn Road, according to the state Department of Transportation.
Fire police from Cumberland County have been called in to assist.
According to radio transmissions, PennDOT is using a plow truck to clear the mess.
Carroll Township Police say a truck overturned, spilling its load of rocks on the highway.
