Police also are planning roving DUI patrols in Adams and Lancaster counties, according to a news release from the center.

The checkpoint and roving patrols will be held between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Monday.

More than 600 police departments across the state, as well as state police, are involved in the "Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over" holiday initiative, which began Aug. 15 and continues through Labor Day, which is Sept. 1.
