Southern Regional Police are searching for a red-headed man who was so angry about the price of beer he threw a sixpack of Bud Light bottles inside a Stewartstown pizza shop Sunday night, barely missing the cook, police said.

It appears the man lost his temper before he even walked inside Messina's Pizzeria on North Main Street about 8:30 p.m., according to police.

Witnesses told officers the man used his hands to break a passenger-side window on a tan Jeep in the parking lot before entering the pizzeria, police said.

After walking inside Messina's, he grabbed a sixpack of Bud Light from the cooler and set it on the counter.

When he was told he owed $10 for the beer, he loudly replied, "F— that" and threw the sixpack across the counter, police said.

The flying bottles barely missed the cook, but struck his cellphone and broke it, according to police, who said shattered glass went everywhere.

He then got into the passenger side of the tan Jeep and it left the lot, police said. The vehicle might have been a Jeep Cherokee, police said.

The man appeared to be in his 20s, has short reddish hair, stubbly facial hair and was wearing a neon-green shirt with no lettering, police said.

Anyone who knows the identity or whereabouts of the man is asked to call Southern Regional Police at (717) 235-3944.
