Police are investigating an incident that injured a pedestrian Sunday night in North Codorus Township.

Around 9 p.m., a vehicle struck the man in the 5700 block of York Road, according to a news release from Southwestern Regional Police.

The man was standing on the shoulder of the westbound lane of travel, and the vehicle continued west after hitting him, the release states.

The man was taken to the hospital for treatment of his injuries, according to police.
