Carroll Township Police have charged three drivers with DUI, one of whom is also charged with fleeing from police.

Brian Wayne Brackbill Jr., 29, of Cumberland Pointe Circle in Mechanicsburg, is charged with driving under the influence, fleeing or attempting to elude police, resisting arrest, driving under suspension and careless driving, police said.

Brackbill was driving on Camp Ground Road in Carroll Township Dec.18 when he allegedly refused to pull over for a police officer. The officer was following the vehicle at a low speed when Brackbill crashed after a sharp curve in the road. After crashing, Brackbill tried to flee on foot, but was arrested, Sgt. David Smith said.

His blood-alcohol level was 0.198 percent, police said. In Pennsylvania, an adult is driving drunk at 0.08 percent.

Police said Michelle L. Spahr, 26, of South Fileys Road in Monaghan Township, is charged with DUI, tailgating and driving without a license.

Police said Spahr was stopped at 12:45 a.m. Dec. 7 on West Harrisburg Street in Dillsburg. She had a blood-alcohol level of 0.152 percent, police said.

And Francis Myers, 69, of Lynes Road in Carroll Township, was charged Dec. 23 with DUI and careless driving, police said.

Police said Myers was driving erratically about 2:20 a.m. Dec. 10 on Route 15 in Carroll Township. His blood-alcohol level was 0.22 percent, police said.
