A Manheim Township home was destroyed in a two-alarm fire Wednesday.

Fire crews were dispatched to 3599 Baumgardner Road just after 11:30 a.m. and arrived to find the fire fully involved, said a Pleasant Hill Volunteer Fire Co. official.

It took firefighters about two hours to douse the flames, and the top floor of the home is completely gone, the official said. Firefighters from Jefferson, Hanover, Glen Rock and Dallastown boroughs and Penn and Heidelberg townships battled the blaze. No injuries were reported, and a damage estimate was not available Wednesday evening.

The York-Adams Chapter of the American Red Cross is aiding the residents of the house, the official said.

A state police fire marshal has been summoned to investigate the cause of the fire.
