Northern York County Region Police are investigating a motorcycle crash that left a Franklin Township man seriously injured.

Daniel Patterson, 24, of the 200 block of Whiskey Springs Road, was flown to Hershey Medical Center by Life Lion for treatment, police said.

Just after 11:55 p.m. Thursday, Patterson was operating a 1995 Suzuki motorcycle, going southbound on Coffeetown Road. He lost control of the vehicle which left the road, according to police.

The motorcycle collided with an embankment and large stone, police said.

Patterson, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle, according to police.
