A 34-year-old Windsor Township man is expected to survive after being stabbed multiple times Monday afternoon in the township, police said.

York Area Regional Police Detective Trent Buschman said the man, whose name was not released, was attacked about 1:45 p.m. while standing along the 3000 block of Cape Horn Road.

The victim lives in that block, the detective said.

Buschman said investigators don't think the stabbing was random, and are looking for a gray sedan occupied by three men that might have been stopped alongside the road.

Detectives are still trying to determine a motive for the attack, he said.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he underwent surgery on Monday afternoon, Buschman said.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call York Area Regional Police at 741-1259.
