A Dover Township man suffered facial injuries when he was punched in the face by one of three masked home-invasion robbers, police said.

The man's wife and three children were home at the time and escaped physical injury, Northern York County Regional Police said.

It happened at 7:54 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 3700 block of Tiffany Drive, according to police, who said the crime wasn't random and the family apparently was targeted.

The husband answered the door and was punched in the face, at which point the three robbers barged in. All three were wearing ski masks, police said.

One of them pointed a gun, possibly a rifle, at the wife, and the robbers demanded money and valuables.

The trio fled the home after getting cash, cellphones and video games, police said.

Anyone with information about the home invasion, or the identities of the robbers, is asked to call police at 292-3647, or leave a tip online at nycrpd.org.
