A woman was robbed at gunpoint by three men in West York Friday night.

The woman reported to police at 6:30 p.m. that she was walking to the home of a family member when three young black men approached her on Herman Street.

She said one of the men pulled out a silver handgun and aimed it at her head as a second man grabbed both her arms, restraining her. The third man took her purse before all three fled towards York City, police said.

The first robber was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt that covered his head and face. The second robber, about 6-foot and skinny, was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt and a red hat. The third man, about 5-foot-10 with a stocky build and a buzzed or faded haircut, was wearing a black puffy jacket and a gray hooded sweatshirt, police said.

All three men are between 18 and 20 years of age, police said.
