A 40-year-old Hopewell Township woman on Wednesday pleaded guilty to an embezzlement charge in York County Court of Common Pleas.

Laurie Ann Wells, former logistics manager for Paul Miller Trucking in Spring Grove, was accused of changing invoices so she would get the money, making some invoices payable to, for example, her landlord. She was charged with failure to make the required disposition of funds received.

She was ordered to pay the company $13,019.50 in restitution, serve five years probation and complete 100 hours of community service, according to court documents.
