West Manchester Township Police are asking for the public's help tracking down two men who robbed a beer store at gunpoint and assaulted an employee.

Police say the two men entered Buy Rite Beer Distribution at 330 S. Richland Ave. and ordered an employee to the register and demanded money about 9:10 p.m. on Dec. 29.

One of the men was armed with a handgun, which may have been a revolver, the employee told investigators, police said.

The other man hit the employee's head a number of times, police said.

The men left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash and merchandise, police said.

Police describe the robbers as black men, both with a medium build.

One was wearing a red or maroon sweatshirt, red bandana, black track pants with a vertical white stripe on the legs and white sneakers. The other robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black ski mask, police said.

Anyone has information about the robbery, or who can identify the two men, is asked to call police at 792-9514.
