Yorkers who can't get enough of Little Caesars' $5 pizza deal will soon have a few more places to buy them.

The Detroit-based restaurant chain is targeting York County as part of its franchise expansion plan.

Three new locations will be added here in the coming months, said Bob Mazziotti, vice president of franchise development for the company.

Little Caesars already has three existing locations in Springettsbury, West Manchester and York townships.

Those locations have posted significant sales increases and store growth, Mazziotti said.

Stemming from that success, Little Caesars is looking to expand its presence in smaller towns where families and the local workforce appreciate "great-tasting pizza for a remarkable value," he said.

Specific addresses for the new restaurants haven't been announced, but Mazziotti said they will likely be located in shopping centers.

"New Freedom is a great example of the type of town we are targeting with our growth," he said.

In addition to York County, Little Caesars plans to add more stores throughout Adams, Cumberland, Lancaster, Franklin, Erie and Mercer counties in Pennsylvania, Mazziotti said.
