Springettsbury Township Police were called to break up a fight at the Chili's Restaurant on Concord Road on Saturday, Jan. 19.

The fight started after one man was waiting in line to put his name on a list to get a table, but was standing back from the list area when a second man arrived. The second man, thinking he was next in line, went to put his name on the list. The first man became upset, saying, "Wait a minute, I was next ...," the chief said.

The simple misunderstanding led to a fight, Hyers said. The fight spilled outside where it became physical and ended with injuries to both individuals, said police.

Chief Thomas Hyers said one man had a broken arm, and police are planning to charge both men with simple assault.
