York sophomore Caroline DeLany has been selected the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week for Jan. 29.

DeLany set two school records at the George Mason University Patriot Games. DeLany's school-record time of 3 minutes, 12.81 seconds earned her 12th place overall (first among NCAA Division III runners) in the 1,000 meter run. She added a 5:28.28 mark in the mile run, two seconds better than the previous York record. It was the second-fastest time among Division III runners in the event.

DeLany also earned the CAC Athlete of the Week award for the previous week after her performance at the Terrapin Invitational hosted by the University of Maryland.
