York City detectives are searching for a man who allegedly shot a woman in a gas station parking lot on Feb. 1, and said a cash reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.

Thomas Washington IV, 34, whose last-known address was in the 600 block of East Market Street, is facing a charge of attempted homicide, police said.

He should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.

Tamika Goodwin, 30, of South Belvidere Avenue, was shot in the arm during the 2:05 a.m. shooting, according to police, who said she was not the intended target.

She was sitting in the driver's seat of her car in the parking lot of the Sunoco A-Plus, 260 N. Sherman St., when Washington fired a shot and struck her in the arm, police allege.

Wanted for questioning is Floretha Williams, who police said is Washington's girlfriend.

Anyone who knows their whereabouts is asked to call city detectives at 849-2219, or the city's anonymous crime tip line, 849-2204. Text a tip to YORKTIPS at 847411.
