The National Weather Service in State College has issued a freezing rain advisory, which is in effect from 11 p.m. Sunday through 9 a.m. Monday.

The Weather Service is calling for a 90 percent chance of precipitation Sunday night, and some of it is expected to be in the form of freezing rain.

But precipitation will move into the area, in the form of freezing rain up until 2 a.m. and in the form of rain or freezing rain after that.

The rain will continue through 10 a.m. Monday, when temperatures will rise to a high of 45 degrees.

ABC27 News predicts isolated pockets of ice remaining Monday morning.

The next precipitation in the forecast comes Wednesday, when there's a 40 percent chance of snow.
