A West Manheim Township man was arrested following two overnight convenience store robberies, according to a news release from the West Manheim Township Police Department.
Adam Cooke, 28, of the 1400 block of Wanda Drive, was charged with one count robbery, one count theft and one count attempted robbery, police said.
Cooke stopped at the Rutters in the 1400 block of Baltimore Street in Hanover at 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, and the clerk refused Cooke's demands to hand over cash, said police.
From there Cooke went to the Turkey Hill at 5 Fuhrman Mill Road, where he allegedly took about $40, police said.
Cooke was stopped by West Manheim Township Police in his truck on Fuhrman Mill Road near Black Rock Road as he fled the Turkey Hill, said police.
Penn Township Police assisted at the stop.
Cooke displayed no weapon and he was transported to central booking for arraignment, police said.
