A fire displaced a family of four from their Lower Windsor Township home early Sunday morning.

Firefighters from Yorkana and surrounding fire departments were dispatched to the mobile home in the 1600 block of Manor Road about 1:30 a.m., said Yorkana Fire Chief Charlie Hose.

Crews arrived to find fire in one room of the house and had the fire under control in less than 15 minutes, the chief said.

The displaced family is staying with other family members, but the Red Cross is aiding them with other needs.

The fire caused an estimated $60,000 in damage. Its cause is under investigation by a state police fire marshal, Hose said.
