A Tuesday morning autopsy determined Amanda Himes died from multiple injuries.

She sustained injuries from several gunshot wounds and stab wounds, York County Coroner Barry Bloss said.

He did not say the location or specific number of the wounds. A full report is pending, he said.

The 39-year-old mother of two died Saturday at the hand of her husband in their Chanceford Township home, according to police.

State police said Steven Himes, 43, shot and killed Amanda Himes before killing himself during a domestic dispute at 2415 Delta Road.

York County 911 received a phone call from Steven Himes at 11:03 p.m. Saturday, saying he shot and killed his wife. While on the phone with police dispatchers, he went to the basement of the home and shot himself in the chest, police said.

When asked about the stab wounds or types of weapons used, state police said they had no additional information.

The couple's two school-age sons, Benjamin and Daniel, were in the home at the time of the incident, police said.

Family of the victim is asking that memorial contributions be made to the Red Lion Bible Church Custodial Fund for Ben and Dan Himes, 105 Springvale Road, Red Lion, PA 17356.

A viewing will be held for Amanda Himes at 9 a.m. Saturday at Red Lion Bible Church, 105 Springvale Road. A funeral will follow at 11:30 a.m., with burial afterward in Windsor Cemetery.
