Grant Hoover pitched a complete-game two-hitter to lead Dover to a 6-2 baseball victory over Susquehannock on Thursday afternoon in Glen Rock.

Hoover struck out 10 and walked two.

Jordan Wynegar had two hits (including a double), two RBIs and a run scored for the Eagles.

Josh Houser hit a two-run single in the first to account for both of Susquehannock's runs.


SPRING GROVE 8, LOWER DAUPHIN: At Spring Grove, Jake Thoman and Nick Spangler combined on a three-hitter to lead the Rockets to the non-league win. Thoman allowed both runs and all three hits in 51/3 innings. Spangler hurled 12/3 hitless, scoreless innings, striking out four without a walk. Spangler also doubled and tripled and drove in three runs. Brandon Warner also had two hits for the winners.

WEST YORK 4, BER MUDIAN SPRINGS 0: At York Springs, Joe Prego pitched a one-hit shutout to lead the Bulldogs. He struck out eight and walked one. The win helped West York -- the defending PIAA Class AAA state champion -- to bounce back from an 11-5 season-opening loss to Red Lion. Bermudian's pitchers held West York to three hits, but the Eagles committed four errors and allowed seven walks.

DALLASTOWN 4, PENN MANOR 0: At Dallastown, Tyler Butcher and Tanner Forry combined to throw a shutout to lead the Wildcats. Butcher and Forry combined to strike out 11. Forry also went 2-for-3 at the plate, while Matt Attig went 2-for-3, including a triple, to go with three RBIs.


YORK SUBURBAN 9, FAIRFIELD 4: At Fairfield, the Trojans used a four-run sixth to take control. A.J. Hammond had two hits for the winners. Brad Church got the win on the mound, allowing three runs in 42/3 innings.

HERSHEY 6, CENTRAL 2: At Hershey, the home team plated four runs in the first and never looked back. Central was hurt by five errors. The Panthers had four hits, while Hershey had six.

CAMP HILL 9, YORK TECH 0: At Camp Hill, Chad Bronson pitched a no-hitter to lead Camp Hill. He struck out 14 and didn't walk a batter. He also went 3-for-4 at the plate with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBIs.
