York Suburban cruised to a pair of easy York-Adams Division II track-and-field victories over visiting Kennard-Dale on Thursday afternoon.

The Suburban boys won, 119-30, while the Trojan girls triumphed, 109-39.

In the boys' meet, Suburban's Jamie Nixon-Alark tied a school record in the 100 dash with a time of 10.9 seconds. Nixon-Alark also took first in the 200. Teammate Chris Diaz won the 1,600 and 3,200 runs. As a team, the Trojans captured first in all 11 track events. Suburban improved to 2-0 overall and in the division.

In the girls' meet, the Trojans captured nine of the 11 track events. Lauren Shrader won the 100 and 300 hurdles for the winners, while Heather Ramp won the 100 and 200. For the Rams, Maddie Ferner won the 1,600 and 800.


RED LION 109, NEW OXFORD 41: At New Oxford, the visiting Lions captured 14 of the 18 events en route to the Division I victory. Red Lion's Andrew Menges swept the 110 and 300 hurdles.


RED LION 90, NEW OXFORD 55: At New Oxford, Red Lion's Amanda Wivell and Angelica Gonzalez each delivered first-place finishes in two individual events. Wivell won the 800 and 1,600 runs, and Gonzalez recorded the farthest leaps in the long jump and triple jump. Gonzalez also anchored the winning 400 relay.
