West York outlasted Susquehannock in double overtime on Wednesday afternoon, 14-13, in a York-Adams League Division II girls' lacrosse battle in Glen Rock.

The Bulldogs moved into sole possession of second place in the division at 6-1, while Susquehannock fell to 5-2. Kennard-Dale leads the division at 7-0 after a 23-1 win over Eastern York on Wednesday night.

Allee Ilgenfritz powered West York with eight goals, while Sara Sweitzer added five. Sweitzer also had two assists.

Brooke Clasing led Susquehannock with four goals and two assists. Carley VanLuit and Olivia Bond added three goals each for the Warriors.

Abby Cox had six saves to get the win in goal. Amber Orner had nine saves for Susquehannock, while Ashton Alban added two.


YORK CATHOLIC 19, YORK SUBURBAN 4: At York Catholic, Alexis China scored four goals, and Shannon Moore supplied five assists to highlight the Fighting Irish victory. Emily Robbins delivered three goals for the winners, and Sarah Gabriele provided two goals and two assists.

SOUTH WESTERN 24, CENTRAL 4: At Central, Sydney Szparaga led the Mustangs by scoring four goals and adding six assists. Jessica Kopenhaver (four goals, two assists), Braxtin Reddinger (three goals and Callie Kavanaugh (two goals, two assists) also excelled for South Western. For the Panthers, MacKenzie Windsor had one goal and two assists. South Western improved to 6-0 in York-Adams Division I and 7-0 overall.


RED LION 13, NEW OXFORD 6: The host Lions led 7-5 at intermission before outscoring the Colonials 6-1 in the second half to get the win. Raquel Rich (five goals, assist), Jenn Yarkowsky (three goals) and Jenny Smith (three goals) paced Red Lion. Goalie Danielle Hall had seven saves for the Lions. New Oxford was led by Tiffany Brzenk (three goals).

SPRING GROVE 18, DALLASTOWN 8: At Spring Grove, Emily Bankert (four goals, assist), Shelby Grosberger (four goals), Carli Walker (three goals) and Michaela Taylor (three goals, assist) powered the Rockets. Amanda Craver had 16 saves to get the win in goal. Alyssa Meloni had three goals to lead Dallastown.


WEST YORK 15, SUS QUEHANNOCK 9: At West York, the Bulldogs improved to 6-0 overall and in York-Adams Division II. Nick Wilker (three goals, two assists), Tanner Gerace (three goals), Seth Clauser (two goals, two assists) and Hunter Betz (goal, three assists) led West York. Jordan Lombardo and Cole Rinehart each added seven saves in goal for West York. Thomas Nace (four goals, assist), Zach Gloeckner (three goals) and Colin Riley (goal, two assists) paced the Warriors.

DALLASTOWN 9, SPRING GROVE 4: At Dallastown, Joe Didusch (three goals, assist) and Jacob Mitchell (goal, two assists) led the Wildcats, who improved to 6-2 overall and 6-1 in York-Adams Division I. Hunter Lane had six saves for the winners. Adam Grant had 15 saves for Spring Grove.

CENTRAL YORK 12, SOUTH WESTERN 6: At Hanover, the Panthers improved to 6-0 both overall and in York-Adams Division I. Max Haldeman (five goals) and Collin George (three goals)led Central. South Western was paced by Jaden Sanders (two goals, assist).

KENNARD-DALE 13, EASTERN YORK 7: At Fawn Grove, Jesse Schonbrunner (four goals, assist), David Wallace (three goals) and Freddy Seitz (three assists) led the Rams. Jon Witman (three goals, assist) and Christian Buser (two goals, assist) paced Eastern.

RED LION 12, NEW OXFORD 5: The visiting Lions led 7-0 at intermission and tacked on five more goals in the second half to get the win. They were led by junior Hayden Jennings (six goals, two assists) and senior Sam Sipe (two goals, assist). Junior goalkeeper Dom Francisco made 15 stops for Red Lion.

YORK SUBURBAN 13, YORK CATHOLIC 1: At Suburban, Foster Hoyt (three goals, assist) led the Trojans to victory. Kat Sinkovitz got the win in goal, making 12 saves. Corbin Kurtz had 13 saves for the Irish.
