Susquehannock survived a seventh-inning scare to capture a 7-6 baseball victory over Eastern York on Tuesday in Wrightsville.

The Warriors led 7-2 entering the bottom of the seventh, before the Golden Knights plated four runs. Eastern couldn't get the equalizer, however.

Josh Houser led the Warriors, going 2-for-4, including two RBIs. Sammy Miller went 2-for-2 with three runs scored, while Bryan Kerr went 2-for-4.

For the Golden Knights, Clayton Miller went 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Dalton Renn went 2-for-4, Bobby Hedrick doubled with two runs scored and Devin Strickler doubled with three RBIs.

Susquehannock improved to 9-2 in York-Adams Division III and 10-4 overall. Eastern fell to 8-7 and 7-4.


DOVER 11, BERMUDI AN SPRINGS 3: At York Springs, Grant Hoover and Dalton Heim belted homers to lead Dover. Ross Drawbaugh added a double to Dover's 14-hit attack. Nate Bachynki got the win, allowing two runs in four innings. Nate Sennett pitched three innings of relief and allowed one run. Clayton Hoff tripled for Bermudian, while Ben Thomas doubled.

YORK CATHOLIC 10, FAIRFIELD 0 (6 INNINGS): At York Catholic, Erich Hartman led the Irish by pitching a six-inning, one-hit shutout. Hartman stuck out 12 and walked one. Jake Krevetski (2-for-4, double, two stolen bases, two RBIs), Josh Elsen (2-for-3), Clint Bohn (2-for-4, double), Matt McKim (2-for-3, two runs), Nathan Haney (2-for-3, two runs) and Doug Mills (2-for-4, double, three RBIs) led the Irish offense.


BIGLERVILLE 15, YORK TECH 3 (5 INNINGS): At Biglerville, Koby Griest, Zach Sheets and Shawn Redding led the Canners by connecting for three hits each. For the Spartans, Hunter Weibley had two hits.
