The Women's York County Amateur Golf Association Championship will take place next week at Hanover Country Club.

The event will start with quarterfinal action on Wednesday, June 19, followed by the semifinals on Thursday, June 20, and the title matches on Friday, June 21. Tee times each day begin at 8 a.m.

Players in the 22-player field were slotted in flights based on their handicaps.

In the Championship Flight, defending champion Amy Kennedy is the No. 1 seed, followed by Connie Shorb at No. 2 and Karen Miller at No. 3. Kennedy and Shorb list Country Club of York as their home course. Miller plays out of Hanover Country Club.

Kennedy won last year's title with a 2-and-1 victory over Shorb in the title match at Regents' Glen Country Club. It was Kennedy's fifth WYCAGA title since 2007 and first since last winning it in 2010. She prevented Shorb from capturing a record 31st Women's York County Amateur title.

In the quarterfinals in the Championship Flight on Wednesday, Kennedy faces Sue Joiner of Cool Creek at 8 a.m.; Amy Golden of Grandview faces Rebecca Ream of Country Club of York at 8:10 a.m.; Shorb meets Paula Bauer of Range End at 8:20 a.m.; and Miller battles Tally Leeper of Honey Run at 8:30 a.m.

The First Flight quarterfinal matches are: Valley Green's Anna Baldini vs. Hanover's Lynn Fiery at 8:40 a.m.; Hanover's Susi Guinn vs. Range End's Kelly Farrell at 8:50 a.m.; Valley Green's Janice Evans vs. Out Door's Mary Bobst at 9 a.m.; and Regents' Glen's Kristi Hamp vs. Bon-Air's Pippi Gemmill at 9:10 a.m.

In the Second Flight, Valley Green's Shelly Stallsmith and Bon-Air's Donna Ensor received quarterfinal byes. The other two quarterfinals are: Out Door's Bev Miller vs. Bon-Air's Betty Winner at 9:30 a.m. and Valley Green's Carol Enders vs. Grandview's Sandy Spangler at 9:40 a.m.
