The York City Recreation and Parks Bureau will host the 2013 Lincoln Park Summer Concert Series beginning Thursday.

The free public concerts begin at 7 p.m. Thursdays at the park, Roosevelt Avenue and Parkway Boulevard. The lineup is:

-- July 11: Jesse James and the Beaver St. Band (rhythm and blues)

-- July 18: R.P.M. (rhythm and blues)

-- July 25: Zero Colony (classic rock/jazz)

-- Aug. 1: Mark DeRose & the Dreadnought Brigade (folk and roots rock)

-- Aug. 8: A.D. Chandler (folk and blues)

-- Aug. 15: Indian Summer Jars (folk)

Concerts will last for an hour, weather permitting. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy the show while under the shade of the maple trees. Restrooms are available.
