West York outlasted Northeastern 25-23, 20-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-6 on Thursday night in a York-Adams League Division II girls' volleyball match.

The Bulldogs were paced by Olivia Drawbaugh (33 assists, 15 digs), Amanda Sides (12 kills, 10 digs) and Alexis Harbold (23 digs).

Northeastern's leaders were Holly Shoemaker (eight kills, 41 assists), Bayle Sowers (12 kills, 21 digs) and Macie Schantz (10 kills, 12 digs).

West York and Northeastern are each now 2-1 in the division, just a half game behind division-leading York Suburban (3-1).

West York also won the JV match, 24-26, 26-24, 15-12.


YORK CATHOLIC 3, YORK TECH 0: At Spry, York Catholic cruised to a 25-16, 25-3, 26-24 triumph. Meredith Beecher, Maggie Allen and Catherine Isherwood teamed for 20 kills to help power the Fighting Irish. Natalie Stewart assisted on 21 points and provided seven aces for the winners, and Brooke Ricks served six aces. Adrianna Beattie (eight kills), Lauren Bupp (eight assists) and Brooke Glass (seven assists) led Tech. York Catholic won the JV match, 2-0.

DOVER 3, RED LION 0: At Dover, the Eagles won the York-Adams Division I match, 25-17, 25-15, 25-22. Bayleigh Hoffman led the Eagles with 14 kills, 10 assists and 10 digs. Natalie Seitz had six digs and five kills, Lauryn Messner had 16 assists and three digs and Karsyn Blouser had seven kills. For the Lions, Marley Vebares had 12 digs, five kills and three assists, while Lindsey Blevins had 10 kills and Julia Pondolfino had 16 digs. Dover won the JV match, 15-25, 25-17, 15-12.


YORK SUBURBAN 3, WILLIAM PENN 0: At Suburban, the home team had little trouble with the Bearcats, rolling to a 25-1, 25-10, 25-8 win. Suburban was led by Claudia Mingora (nine digs), Emily Miller (21 assists) and Kayla Gibbs (11 aces, 10 kills). Suburban won the JV match, 25-5, 25-8.

SOUTH WESTERN 3, SPRING GROVE 1: At Spring Grove, the Mustangs rallied for a 20-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-15 triumph. South Western was led by Holly Arey (13 kills, 13 digs), Erin Harman (14 kills, 11 digs), Hannah McMaster (eight digs, 24 assists) and Tori Sager (18 digs). Spring Grove's leaders were Brooke Osborne (11 digs, 19 assists), Jackie Thoman (11 digs), Mia Bennett (eight kills) and Kasey Bentley (25 digs). Spring Grove won the JV match, 25-11, 25-19.

DELONE CATHOLIC 3, HANOVER 0: At Hanover, Cambria Wierman, Cheyenne Altland and Mary Gingrow combined for 28 kills in the Squirettes' 25-18, 25-23, 25-12 triumph over the Hawkettes. Katie Laughman and Sarah Senft teamed for 27 Delone assists. Saranda Gerlach delivered four kills for Hanover, and Kelsey Staub and Renee Drawbaugh combined for 12 assists. Delone also won the JV match, 25-14, 25-18.

LITTLESTOWN 3, FAIR FIELD 0: At Fairfield, Taylor Nicol recorded eight kills and Lauren Slater supplied 23 assists as the Thunderbolts earned a 25-15, 25-14, 25-12 victory. Amber Davidson served five aces for Littlestown. Abby Herring (four kills, three aces) and Alisha Kelley (three kills, five digs) led Fairfield. Littlestown won the JV match, 2-0.

NEW OXFORD 3, KEN NARD-DALE 1: At New Oxford, the Colonials won the York-Adams Division II match, 25-6, 25-17, 21-25, 25-17. New Oxford was led by Bonaire Berry (25 assists, five kills), Brooke Krebs (nine kills) and Taryn Crone (seven kills). K-D's leaders were Katie Leftridge (10 kills, six digs), Lauren Ciccotello (15 digs, five kills) and Marlaina McConville (nine kills, 11 digs). K-D won the JV match, 17-25, 25-21, 15-13.
