The York County Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking a volunteer to assist with animal care at the Nixon Park Nature Center. The volunteer would help care for the center's three snakes, two turtles and an active bee hive. The only requirement is an interest in nature and animals. Award-winning group Town Mountain will play their rough-hewn bluegrass sounds at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Burning Bridge Tavern, 108 Hellam St., Wrightsville. Some of the top high school wrestlers in the nation will descend on the York Expo Center on Saturday for the National High School Coaches Association Final Four Festival. The local teams competing are Spring Grove, Dallastown West York and Bermudian Springs. Also competing are nationally ranked programs Blair Academy (N.J.) and Wyoming Seminary. The event begins at 9 a.m. and should end around 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students.
